So, I guess I should have looked at the calendar.
The surgery is Friday the 5th of January, not the 4th.
The surgery is to replace a valve and repair the other if possible (otherwise it will be replaced).

Moms Blog
On Friday, December 29th I received an email from mom asking me if I could set up a blog to keep everyone updated on how she is doing.
Someone at work has a niece that had some medical issues and her family started a blog for her to keep everyone updated on how she was doing.
She wanted mom to do the same, so here it is.
As you know, she is going in for surgery to repair a heart valve on Friday, January 4th.
I will post updates as often as possible to keep everyone informed on how she is doing.
Once she gets home, I will show her how to log in and she can keep us up to date herself.
I have also set up a section at the PruittClan.net website forum that I will keep updated.
